Features
You set every one of these features right in the Maxhaust app.
Adjust every detected speaker individually. Across five RPM ranges, you fine-tune the volume for the perfect sound experience.
Adjust the idle RPM, change the RPM dynamics while driving, and simulate a rough engine idle at a standstill.
With the start and stop sounds, you activate a characteristic engine rev-up on startup or the wind-down of a turbine when shutting off.
In our extensive sound library, you’ll find a wide range of backfire sounds. Choose the perfect sound for a distinctive accent.
You’ll feel it on every downshift: “crackles and pops” for an intensely realistic sound experience.
Noticeable on every upshift: brief cut-outs or the famous DSG fart of the Golf GTI. Individually selectable.
Step on the brake and floor the gas. The sound starts to sputter at high RPM, just like a supercar.
Our system simulates blow-offs deceptively realistically. Sound and volume change with the RPM, giving your vehicle a unique touch.
Your combustion engine in electric mode: RPM and gear shifts are simulated just like in an EV. Hybrid drivers get sound in both e-mode and combustion mode.
Every engine or e-sound is made up of up to five sub-sounds. Some react to RPM or braking, others to your speed.
In Showroom Mode, you simulate a drive, including speed changes and gear shifts. Even revving the engine while parked is possible.
Keep track of your favorite sounds and create up to 16 individual profiles, with volume, sound selection, RPM adjustment, and more.

Sound Module
More power, more sounds, more possibilities.
Especially with today’s high-performance gasoline engines, which keep getting quieter, our system perfectly underscores the engine sound and gives it an impressive presence. The Maxhaust sound generator transforms your car too, whether diesel, gasoline, or electric, into an acoustic masterpiece.
Four speaker channels guarantee clear reproduction and a rich, voluminous, unique sound experience. Sound actuator and Sound Booster technology you don’t just hear: you feel it.
Fits all vehicle manufacturers
Compatible manufacturers: Audi, Mercedes, BMW, Range Rover, Porsche, VW, Opel, and many more. Features: four speaker channels, for diesel, gasoline, and electric, no warranty loss, no software modifications, app control, made in Germany.
Drive Profiles
Why install new buttons when your vehicle already has them?
With our app, you create different drive profiles and link them to buttons your vehicle already has, depending on your equipment:
The buttons’ original functions stay fully intact: safe and simple, even while driving.
Speakers
Our engineers put the highest priority on compact speakers that deliver realistic sound while staying space-saving and easy to install.
The Deep Speaker, housed in a fiberglass-reinforced enclosure, delivers a powerful, rich sound and impressive volume.
The High Speaker perfects the sound. Backfires, blow-offs, and turbo sounds ring out extremely loud and authentic. That makes the sound experience more intense and more realistic.
The Vibration Speaker generates sound waves through the hood and softens the typical diesel clatter. Inside the cabin, it creates a subtle, pleasant sound.
Discretion
Stealth Mode gives you maximum discretion and security for your Maxhaust system. The moment you activate it via the app, the Maxhaust button, or an original vehicle button, your entire system is fully shielded.
All connected devices and scenes are disabled, the Bluetooth name is hidden, and any external access is blocked. Flip the switch and see for yourself.
Future-Proof
For the engine sounds, we simulate a synthetic RPM and gear shifts based on your speed and throttle position. From these values, we then generate an authentic engine sound that gives you the driving feel of a combustion engine.
Don’t want a combustion engine sound? The sound module also offers a wide range of e-sounds. The future is here, and we move with the times: our software supports both fully electric and hybrid vehicles.
Full throttle from a standstill, including gear shifts
Automation
Discover the simplicity of our app’s scene feature, which lets you seamlessly connect every Maxhaust product to your vehicle’s buttons and states.
Choose a trigger
Your scene plays out
Just a few examples of many. Which triggers are available depends on your vehicle and its equipment. Combine them freely in the app.
Leave your smartphone in your pocket while your car responds to your actions on its own. No changes to the vehicle software, no warranty loss.
Vehicle buttons can be assigned multiple functions. A smart solution for getting the most out of every Maxhaust feature.
Expansion
Why stop at engine or e-sounds?
With Custom Sounds, you expand your Active Sound system with another feature that will amaze everyone! Combined with scene control, you can play other sounds beyond the app: for example, one sound when unlocking and another when locking your vehicle.
The possibilities are endless, and the sound selection keeps growing.
